Kyrgyz Ambassador to Ethiopia presents his credentials to Chairperson of African Union Commission

Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2026 /Kabar/. On February 4, in Addis Ababa, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Adylbek Tultemirov, presented his credentials to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The presentation ceremony took place at the African Union headquarters and was held in a spirit of mutual respect and goodwill.

Tultemirov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of Kyrgyzstan gaining observer status in the African Union.

The Chairperson of the Commission, Yusuf, in turn, congratulated Tultemirov on the beginning of his mission and expressed interest in initiating dialogue and interaction aimed at strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the African Union. During the conversation, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
