Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from Iranian Foreign Minister

Doha, February 4 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, received a phone call on Wednesday from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Abbas Araqchi.
During the call, they discussed the ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's support for all efforts aimed at reducing tensions and achieving peaceful solutions that enhance security and stability in the region.
His Excellency also stressed the need for concerted efforts to spare the peoples of the region the consequences of escalation and to continue coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to overcome differences through diplomatic means. (QNA)
