Meeting with Heroes Held in Nampho of DPRK
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- Students in their final year at the senior middle schools in Nampho Municipality met with heroes at the Nampho Municipal Art Theatre on Feb. 1.
When the heroes entered the venue of the meeting, the students greeted them with bouquets.
Labor Hero An Yun Dok said that young people, encouraged by the trust of the Workers' Party of Korea which charged them with the construction of the Youth Hero Motorway, turned out to demonstrate the stamina and indomitable fighting spirit of the Korean youth.
True to the ideas and leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, the young people have built many monumental edifices in different parts of the country and glorified their youth in defending the country, he added.
The mother of a soldier involved in the overseas military operations talked about the love and trust of the Party Central Committee which put forward the combatants, who devotedly carried out the orders of the Party and the country, as the greatest heroes of the times.
DPRK Hero Ri Tong Guk handed over the national flag of the DPRK to the new generations on behalf of the victorious wartime generation.
The students expressed their will to fortify the defence lines of the country impregnably by inheriting the spirit of defending the country and the revolution displayed by the heroes of the preceding generation as well as the heroic soldiers involved in the overseas military operations.
The meeting was followed by a motivational performance of the schoolchildren's artistic information team. -0-
