National Photo Exhibition Opens in DPRK
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A national photo exhibition, "Under the uplifted banner of self-reliance", was opened to celebrate the 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
On display there are photos dealing with the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
The photos help the visitors recollect the history of the revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il who kindled the torch of the revolutionary advance and the flames of a new upsurge in the new century throughout the country.
Among the photos are those showing the devoted efforts of Kim Jong Il who made a ceaseless high-intensity forced march for field guidance with his faith and will to make the country prosperous and make the people well-off.
Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are photos dealing with the exploits of Kim Jong Un who is translating the patriotic desire of Kim Jong Il into a brilliant reality.
The photos show the personality of Kim Jong Un as the peerlessly great man who is ushering in a new era of comprehensive prosperity while firmly carrying forward the brilliant tradition of self-reliance, the eternal vitality of the state and motive power of its advance.
An opening ceremony of the national photo exhibition took place at the Okryu Exhibition House on Monday.
Present there were Jo Myong Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.
Jo Myong Chol made an opening address.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition. -0-
