Malaysia, Ukraine Explore Cooperation In Road Infrastructure, Construction

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- Malaysia and Ukraine are exploring cooperation in road infrastructure development, construction and professional services following discussions between Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi and Ukraine’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr Nadolenko Hennadii, Tuesday. 

Nanta said the meeting would strengthen institutional ties and promote strategic collaboration between both countries.

“Both sides also exchanged views on cooperation opportunities, particularly in knowledge sharing and capacity building, in support of Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts,” he said in a post on X.

He added that Malaysia’s construction sector reforms under the National Construction Policy 2030 were also highlighted, focusing on quality, sustainability, digitalisation, productivity and good governance.

Nanta said the Works Ministry remains committed to promoting constructive international cooperation to support sustainable development and long-term partnerships.
