Kyrgyzstan's population reaches almost 7.4 million people

Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2026. /Kabar/. The population of Kyrgyzstan as of December 1, 2025, reached 7,395,000 people. These data are presented in a report by the National Statistical Committee.

From January to November 2025, the republic's population increased by 112,800 people, or 1.5%. This growth was primarily due to natural population growth.

According to the state institution "Kyzmat," 127,800 newborns were registered with civil registry offices from January to November 2025, or 19.0 per 1,000 population (compared to 19.9 in January to November 2024). During the same period, 29,300 deaths were registered, or 4.4 per 1,000 population (compared to 4.5 in 2024).

As a result, the natural population growth rate was 98,500 people, or 19.0 per 1,000 population (compared to 19.9 in January to November 2024).

The highest natural population growth rate in January to November 2025 was recorded in Batken, Osh, and Jalal-Abad regions. The lowest rate was recorded in Bishkek.
