Intelligent Tele-education System Established in DPRK
Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK has built a new intelligent tele-education system of Korean style, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The intellectual teaching management system, an important part of this tele-education system, automatically judges the study results of students and provides appropriate study data in keeping with order of cognitive processes. It is modeled on a thinking way of superior teacher and based on a learner model helpful to accurately grasping the learner's study state.
It also enhances the enthusiasm for learning with an automatic framing system for analyzing learning attitudes and making notices of study results for tens of thousands of working people.
And it has an automatic question-and-answer system and an intelligent test system for assessing students' academic abilities.
In addition, there are an automatic system of evaluating the foreign literature translated by students and a system for automatically analyzing the experimental, practical and academic design reports and blueprints presented by students.
The university is directing efforts to researches with its goal of putting the system on a standardized basis to introduce it into other universities. -0-
