Meeting with War Veteran Held in Kanggye City of DPRK

 Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- Graduating class students of senior middle schools in Kanggye City met with a war veteran.
Students presented bouquets to Jang Ryon Bong, a war veteran, and congratulated her.
Jang said that the victory in the past Fatherland Liberation War was a brilliant fruition of the gifted wisdom and outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung and his trust and love for the service personnel of the People's Army.
She said that the history of the ever-victorious heroic Korean People's Army is being steadily carried forward under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, another peerlessly great man.
The meeting heard speeches of mothers of the heroes, who performed immortal feats, to be recorded forever in the history, by displaying indomitable fighting spirit and mass heroism in the overseas military operations.
The students expressed their resolve to reliably defend peace and security of the country by volunteering for the forefront of national defence, inheriting the soul and tradition of the victorious wartime generation and the martyrs in the overseas military operations. -0-
