Capacity of Kyongam Cement Factory Expanded in DPRK

 Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK completed a project for expanding the capacity of the Kyongam Cement Factory.
The establishment of a large-capacity cement production line with modern and efficient equipment has opened up a prospect for producing much more quality cement with locally available raw materials and resources to enable the province to push ahead with construction projects more vigorously.
Present at its inauguration ceremony held on the spot on January 29 were Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials in the province, working people in Pongsan County and employees of the factory.
After the ceremony the participants looked round different places of the factory.
Meanwhile, Pak Chang Ho and other officials concerned inspected the Kyongam Plastic Building Materials Branch, newly built at the Kyongam Tile Factory, to discuss the issues for normal production. -0-
