Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Families of Commanding Officers of Overseas Operations Units

 Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on Jan. 1 met with families of commanding officers of the overseas operations units who participated in the New Year celebrations for 2026.
The families of commanding officers of the overseas operations units, who came to see Kim Jong Un whom they had longed for even in their dreams, extended their greetings of best wishes to him repeatedly showing special love and affection with parental care of being more concerned of children further apart.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that he thinks much more of the commanding officers and combatants of the overseas operations units who would place their minds on this celebration venue, praying for the eternal prosperity of the country and happiness of their families at battlefields of alien land, at this meaningful moment when the whole country greets the hopeful new year after seeing the old year out with precious memories and pride.
He said that the commanding officers of the overseas operations units would greet the new year in the overseas operational area, yearning for their beloved families even at this moment, and will redouble their strength and courage while missing even in their dreams their families who are eagerly waiting for them to return home in good health.
He said that the news and photo that he met their families would make the commanding officers very pleased on the battlefields and proposed to wish for the beloved people to return home safe after discharging their mission.
