Baghdad / NINA / -Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and British Ambassador to Iraq Irfan Siddiq emphasized the importance of working to support stability in the region.

A statement from the Prime Minister's office said: "Al-Sudani received British Ambassador to Iraq Irfan Siddiq on Wednesday. The meeting addressed bilateral relations in various fields and ways to strengthen them, particularly in the development, economic, and investment sectors, in order to achieve the common interests of both countries."

The statement added: "Both sides stressed the importance of working to support stability in the region and preventing any escalation that affects its security and threatens the safety of its people, and resorting to dialogue and international law to resolve disputes." /End
