Regional-Industry Factories and Leisure Complex Built in Kaesong Municipality

 Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- People in Kaephung District, Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK, greeted the moment of significantly auspicious event.
An inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories and leisure complex, newly built in Kaephung District for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy, took place on December 26.
Present there were Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, officials, working people and soldier-builders in Kaesong Municipality and Kaephung District and employees of the regional-industry factories and leisure complex.
Pak Thae Song addressed the ceremony.
He congratulated the people in Kaephung District on the completion of new factories and multi-functional base for leisure activities.
He extended thanks to the soldiers of the construction regiment who built excellent edifices for national prosperity and people's wellbeing, deeming the trust of the Party their greatest honor.
The premier called upon all the officials and working people to more vigorously work for the sure implementation of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on regional development and the comprehensive national rejuvenation, true to the idea and leadership of the Party Central Committee.
Ri Yong Il, chief secretary of the Kaephung District Committee of the WPK, in his speech said that today's eye-opening reality, whereby the cherished desire, pictured as a future ideal, has come true, is a striking demonstration of the steadfast will and executive power of the great Party Central Committee leading the historic cause of regional development to steady successes, and an inspiring auspicious event heralding continuous progress and bigger successes.
He stressed that the newly-built regional-industry factories would produce more consumer goods and foodstuffs with unique characteristics and the leisure complex fulfill its mission as service facilities promoting the mental and cultural growth and leisure activities of the working people and the younger generation.
The premier cut the inauguration tape with the owners of the new workplaces, amid the fervent applause resulting from the pleasure of being able to lead a rich and highly civilized life in the region blessed by the Party.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the fashionable leisure complex and regional-industry factories.
A colorful performance was given and put on its stage were songs full of patriotic enthusiasm.
That evening there was a fireworks display to celebrate the inauguration of regional-industry factories and leisure complex in Kaephung District. -0-
