Saudi Cycling Federation Board Reviews International Hosting and Olympic Track Project

   Riyadh, December 26, 2025, SPA -- The Board of Directors of the Saudi Cycling Federation held its third meeting of 2025 remotely, chaired by Board President Abdulaziz Alshahrani and attended by board members. The meeting followed up on work progress and discussed the federation’s future plans and programs.
   The board reviewed several files, with upcoming international hosting leading the agenda. These include AlUla Tour (2026), the Asian Road Cycling Championships (2026), and the Asian Cycling Confederation Congress.
   The board also reviewed updates on the project to build an Olympic cycling track, including work phases and cooperation mechanisms with relevant entities and investors. The goal is to provide specialized infrastructure that supports development. The board discussed the national teams’ timetable, participation plans and preparatory camps, as well as officiating and technical courses aimed at developing national talent and strengthening the sustainability of Saudi cycling.
