National Guard Commander meets Deputy Commandant of Pakistan Military Academy

Manama, Dec. 25 (BNA): General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received Brigadier Muhammad Idris Nawaz, Deputy Commandant of the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) at Kakul, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom and following Pakistan’s team winning first place in the first Military Pace Stick Competition.

The competition was held today at the National Guard Camp in Al Sakhir, with the participation of teams from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), and the National Guard.

The Commander of the National Guard congratulated the Pakistani infantry team on securing first place in the competition.

Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa encouraged continued participation in activities that enhance leadership skills through the exchange of military expertise between the two sides.
