Eight social and industrial facilities opened in Jalal-Abad

Bishkek, Dec. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Eight social and industrial facilities were opened online in Jalal-Abad oblast today. President Sadyr Zhaparov participated in the ceremony.

According to the regional administration, the event was held as part of the 4th People's Kurultai.

The social facilities opened include three schools and a gym in the Chatkal district, School No. 12 named after K. Sherkulov in Aksy, sports complex in the Toktogul district, and major renovation of School No. 7 named after Zh. Turusbekov in Suzak.

The opening of these facilities, as noted by local authorities, will improve conditions for children's education, develop sports, and expand the region's industrial potential.

Production also expanded at the ORIS LLC bitumen plant in Barpy village in Suzak district, and the Markai coal mine was commissioned.
