National Security Advisor To The British Ambassador: Iraq Enjoys Balanced Relations With All Countries Of The World

Baghdad / NINA /-National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji received the British Ambassador to Baghdad, Irfan Siddiq, on Monday.
A statement from the National Security Chancellery indicated that the British Ambassador congratulated Iraq on the successful parliamentary elections, noting that their success reflects the citizens' confidence in their democratic system. He stated, "Iraq plays a prominent role in the stability of the region and the world, and the balanced policies it has pursued have kept Iraq and the region away from conflicts and wars." He also praised the role of diplomacy and dialogue, which the Iraqi government encourages, in resolving regional crises.
For his part, al-Araji explained that Iraq enjoys balanced relations with all countries of the world and has opened the door to economic investment for the benefit of the country and the exchange of expertise and information with brotherly and friendly nations. He pointed out that "Iraq's policy of openness has built bridges of cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, serving the common interests of all." /End
