WAMY Praises Saudi Arabia's Commitment to Child Rights

Riyadh, November 21, 2025, SPA -- The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s sustained efforts to protect and promote child rights, marking World Children's Day, observed annually on November 20.
WAMY emphasized that Saudi Arabia places special emphasis on safeguarding children through legislation and regulatory frameworks designed to protect them from all forms of discrimination and abuse. These frameworks also ensure children’s rights to life, healthcare, education, and a safe environment that supports their psychological, mental, and physical development.
Such efforts stem from Saudi Vision 2030, which has strengthened child rights through educational and awareness initiatives, as well as cultural and humanitarian frameworks. These human-centered initiatives reflect the leadership’s commitment to human rights and to nurturing individuals capable of contributing to the nation’s progress.
WAMY added that Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian approach extends beyond its borders, supporting child-related causes globally, particularly orphan care, through support programs and development initiatives across Africa and Asia. These efforts help improve children’s lives, secure their future, and reflect the deeply rooted values of compassion and solidarity within Saudi society.
