Shura Council Chairman meets Jordanian Speaker

Amman, Nov. 20 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Mazen Turki El Qadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Jordan. Al Saleh congratulated El Qadi on his election as Speaker.

The Chairman highlighted the strong parliamentary ties between Bahrain and Jordan, reflecting the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He emphasised expanding cooperation in legislative work, particularly in digital transformation and technical tools, to enhance efficiency, transparency, and advanced parliamentary practices.

Al Saleh also highlighted the importance of regular consultative meetings to exchange expertise and coordinate on shared Arab and international issues, strengthening regional security and stability.

On his part, El Qadi commended Bahrain’s progress in institutional and parliamentary development, and described the bilateral relations as a model of effective parliamentary cooperation that serves both countries.
