Ambassador to Oman congratulates Oman on National Day

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA):  Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, commended the deep relations between Bahrain and Oman, grounded in the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

The ambassador congratulated His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the government, and the people of Oman on the occasion of Oman’s National Day.  He said November 20 is an important national occasion and expressed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Oman under its leadership.

Al Kaabi expressed pride in Oman’s development at the local, regional, and international levels, noting its advancement across various sectors.  He said the National Day reflects Oman’s historic heritage and the achievements that inspire future generations.

He noted that Oman continues to witness progress across political, economic, and social domains, reflecting the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and its tenth five-year plan.

The ambassador commended the strong and longstanding relations between Bahrain and Oman, describing them as rooted in mutual understanding and shared positions on regional and international issues.

He said the State Visit conducted by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Oman on January 15 marked an important step in strengthening bilateral relations, resulting in the signing of around 25 agreements, memoranda of understanding, and executive programmes aligned with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040.

Al Kaabi said these agreements are now being implemented by the relevant authorities in both countries, reflecting the commitment of their leaderships to broaden cooperation.

He also highlighted the role of the Bahrain–Oman Joint Ministerial Committee, established in 1992, in advancing bilateral initiatives and developing frameworks for cooperation across key sectors.
