Derasat CEO receives IMF Regional Director

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Abdullah Mohammed Alahmad, CEO of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), received Dr. Abdoul Aziz Wane, the Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Regional Office in Riyadh.

The meeting discussed efforts to enhance cooperation in several areas of mutual interest.

The CEO emphasised that collaboration with the IMF represents a valuable opportunity to benefit from global expertise in public finance, policy analysis, and macroeconomics.

On his part, Dr. Wane expressed his appreciation for Derasat’s role in promoting intellectual and economic dialogue and strengthening engagement with international institutions, noting the importance of knowledge exchange and the development of shared perspectives to support regional development priorities.
