Islamic Games; Iran gains eighth gold for women doubles table tennis team

Tehran, IRNA – Continuing the sixth day of the Islamic Countries Games in Riyadh, the final of the women's doubles table tennis tournament was held tonight, and the doubles team of Shahsavari and Safaei won gold.

In this match, the Iranian doubles team of Neda Shahsavari and Shima Safaei faced the Turkish team and won 3-1 in the match to win the championship title and record the eighth gold medal for the Iranian team.

Iranian female table tennis players, led by Sima Limouchi, won the doubles championship title of the Islamic countries games.
