Iraq Welcomes the Arab League's Statement Regarding the Participation of the League's Mission in Monitoring the Elections

Baghdad / NINA / -The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the statement issued by the League of Arab States regarding the participation of its mission in monitoring the 2025 Iraqi parliamentary elections.

In its statement, the Ministry commended the constructive role of the monitoring mission, headed by Ambassador Faed Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General of the League, and its professional and field efforts that contributed to monitoring the electoral process at its various stages. The Ministry affirmed Iraq's deep appreciation for the League's support and its continued commitment to strengthening joint Arab action.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to cooperation and coordination with the League of Arab States and its institutions in all fields, reflecting Iraq's commitment to the approach of regional and international partnership and cooperation, and to consolidating democratic practices that enhance its stability and political progress. /End
