DPRK Men's and Women's Premier Football Leagues Close
Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- The 2024-2025 DPRK men's and women's premier football leagues that started in December last year came to an end.
The April 25 Team won the men's premier football league, and the Sobaeksu Team and the Ryomyong Team took the second and third places respectively.
Meanwhile, the April 25 Team came first in the women's premier football league and the Naegohyang Team and the Pyongyang Team came second and third respectively.
A prize-giving ceremony of the 2024-2025 DPRK men's and women's premier football leagues took place at the Kim Il Sung Stadium on Sunday.
Cups and medals were awarded to men's and women's football teams and players who proved successful and displayed high skills and noble moral traits.
The best player prize, excellent player prize and the top scorer prize were awarded to Choe Song Hyok of the April 25 Team, Ri Ju Yong of the Sobaeksu Team and Pak Kwang Chon of the Ryomyong Team respectively. Kim Ryong Ik of the Sobaeksu Team was awarded the best goalkeeper prize and the Paekgumsan Team the prize of morality.
And the best player prize went to Jong Yun Mi of the April 25 Team, excellent player prize to Ri Su Jong of the Naegohyang Team, the top scorer prize to Hyon Ji Hyang of the Pyongyang Team, the best goalkeeper prize to Chae Un Gyong of the Pyongyang Team and the prize of morality to the Wolmido Team. -0-
