Kumsong Youth Publishing House Marks Its 80th Founding Anniversary

Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- The Kumsong Youth Publishing House in the DPRK marked its 80th founding anniversary.
On November 9, 1945, President Kim Il Sung founded the Pyongyang Children's Cultural Company, the predecessor of the Kumsong Youth Publishing House, and solved all problems arising in the publishing work including editing forces and publishing apparatuses and led the publishing house to creditably discharge its mission and duty.
Chairman Kim Jong Il left immortal traces at the publishing house and guided the publishing and editing work to provide the important guidelines for improving the contents and forms of the publications for youth and children even though he was busy with the revolutionary leadership.
In the new era of the Juche revolution, the Kumsong Youth Publishing House has greeted a new heyday of its development under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
A commemorative meeting was held at the Central Youth Hall on Nov. 9.
Present there were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, and officials, journalists, editors and employees of the publishing house, meritorious persons and youth and students.
O Hye Son, general director and editor-in-chief of the publishing house, made a report. -0-
