Foreign Minister meets French Presidential Advisor for MENA

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Anne-Claire, Advisor to the President of the French Republic for the Middle East and North Africa, on the occasion of her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

The meeting reviewed the longstanding ties between Bahrain and France and its continued development across various domains, and discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation in key areas to serve mutual interests.

They also discussed current regional and international developments and their impact on regional security and stability, as well as ongoing efforts to achieve peace and security in the region. The Foreign Minister commended the active role played by France, in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in convening the international conference held in New York last September to advance a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implement the two-state solution. Views were also exchanged on a number of issues of common interest.
