Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan Sign MoU on Civil Defense Cooperation

   Riyadh, October 29, 2025, SPA -- The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan signed today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of civil defense and protection. The signing took place on the sidelines of the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport hosted in Riyadh.
   The MoU aims to enhance cooperation and facilitate the exchange of technical and field expertise in risk prevention, emergency response, and the development of human and training capacities in civil defense and protection.
   It also seeks to boost coordination mechanisms in areas such as search and rescue, disaster management, and emergency preparedness, while supporting efforts to promote public safety and protect lives and property.
   The signing of this MoU reflects the commitment of both countries to enhancing relations and expanding international cooperation in humanitarian and preventive fields.
