Deputy Interior Minister receives Iraqi Director General of Traffic

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA): Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Deputy Minister of Interior, received this morning Major General Dr. Uday Samir Halim, Director General of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, and Major General Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Director-General of the General Directorate of Traffic.

Al Fadhel underscored the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Iraq, which continue to develop in various domains.

The meeting reviewed several topics of common interest and discussed means to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise to support security efforts and achieve the shared objectives of the two countries.
