Bahrain welcomes ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and Afghanistan brokered by Qatar and Türkiye

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA):  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s welcome of the announcement made in Doha regarding the agreement between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on an immediate ceasefire.

The Ministry commended the diplomatic mediation efforts of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Türkiye, emphasising the Kingdom’s support for efforts aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and constructive cooperation between the two countries, and consolidating security, stability, and sustainable peace in the region.
