Yonhap News signs news exchange deal with Congo's Agence Congolaise de Presse

SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- Yonhap News Agency, South Korea's key newswire, said Tuesday it has signed an agreement with Congo's state-run Agence Congolaise de Presse (ACP) for the exchange of news content in English and French, expanding its news exchange partnerships to 100 news agencies across the world.
With the latest agreement, the number of news agencies partnered with Yonhap has reached 100 in 85 countries, including major global news agencies such as Reuters, the Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, China's Xinhua News Agency and Russia's TASS news agency.
In collaboration with the leading news agencies, Yonhap has been delivering timely news coverage of global developments to the world while providing real-time information on South Korea to audiences worldwide.
Over the past year, it has accelerated efforts to expand its global news network, signing a series of exchange agreements with agencies such as APS of Senegal, APTOP of Togo, LINA of Liberia, ACI of the Republic of the Congo, Editora Peru of Peru and ACP of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
