Kyrgyzstan, Germany discuss professional training issues

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Cabinet Head Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Reinhold Krammel, Honorary Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bavaria and Thuringia and Deputy Co-Chair of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council on the German side.

According to the Cabinet, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Kyrgyz-German cooperation, as well as preparations for the business forum and meeting of the Business Council, which will be held in Berlin at the end of November 2025.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted the positive dynamics of bilateral economic relations and emphasized the importance of the institution of honorary consuls in strengthening business ties, attracting investment, and developing entrepreneurial activity between Kyrgyzstan and Germany. He also recalled the results of the business forum in Cholpon-Ata, where memoranda of cooperation were signed, opening up prospects for long-term projects between the business communities of the two countries. Particular attention was paid to the training of professional personnel during the meeting.

The parties discussed in detail the prospects for implementing projects in the field of education, including training personnel in the service sector and technical specialties. It was emphasized that vocational education and human capital development, as well as training personnel, including for Germany's needs, remain a priority area of ​​Kyrgyz-German cooperation.

Reinhold Krammel expressed appreciation for the constructive dialogue and noted that he sees great potential for expanding partnerships not only in industry and education, but also in tourism and HoReCa. He added that Kyrgyzstan possesses unique natural resources, and Germany is ready to share its experience in developing sustainable tourism infrastructure and create appropriate educational programs to enhance the qualifications of specialists in this field.

At the end of the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev thanked the Honorary Consul and members of the German Business Council for their active participation in developing economic dialogue. He emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic is open to investment and ready to provide comprehensive support to foreign partners implementing projects in the country.

Cabinet head expressed confidence that the upcoming events in Berlin will give new impetus to the development of the Kyrgyz-German partnership and will be another step towards strengthening mutually beneficial ties.
