Omani Finance Minister visits BIBF in presence of Bahrain’s Finance Minister

Manama, May 8 (BNA): Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman, visited the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.


 

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; Faisal bin Hareb bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain; and Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Chairman of the BIBF Board of Directors, were present.


 

Minister Al Habsi was briefed on BIBF’s educational facilities and received an overview of the institute’s training programmes and professional certifications, as well as its role in financial and banking education.


 

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasised the pivotal role of Bahrain’s financial and banking sector, identifying it as a key national priority. He highlighted BIBF’s contribution to specialised training programmes and its impact on advancing the sector. The minister also underscored the importance of continued efforts to train and qualify national talent and create promising career opportunities.
