The FM Discusses Regional Developments And Challenges To Security And Stability With The French Ambassador

Baghdad /NINA/- Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein discussed with French Ambassador Patrick Durel the latest regional developments and the challenges facing security and stability in the region.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Hussein received the French Ambassador at the ministry's headquarters on Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed relations between Iraq and France and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields. They also discussed regional developments and the challenges facing security and stability in the region.

The ongoing preparations for hosting the upcoming Arab Summit in Baghdad were also reviewed, as well as the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure the success of this Arab event.

Fuad Hussein expressed Iraq's keenness to strengthen its relations with France to serve the common interests of the two countries. The French Ambassador praised Iraq's efforts in supporting regional stability and enhancing Arab and international cooperation./ End
