Russian cosmonauts aboard ISS congratulate women on International Women’s Day
MOSCOW, March 8. /TASS/. The Russian crewmembers on board the International Space Station (ISS) - Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Vagner (TASS special correspondent) and Alexander Gorbunov - have wished a happy International Women’s Day to all women, according to a video released by the Roscosmos State Space Corporation.
"Dear ladies, today, we are celebrating one of the warmest and most favorite holidays in Russia. We would like to join in the congratulations that you are receiving on March 8. May you feel the spring mood and love and may all your plans work out," Ovchinin said.
Vagner pointed out that International Women’s Day was a great occasion to thank the women in one’s life for their love and kindness. "We wish you happiness and thank you for the invaluable support that gives us, men, confidence and peace of mind and inspires us to make more achievements. May every day of your life be filled with love and joy," the TASS special correspondent added.
Gorbunov wished that women would feel the cheer not only on March 8 but every day of the year. "May you be surrounded by your loved ones whose attention would empower you to make our world better," the cosmonaut concluded.
