China Graduates Reminded To Deepen Mandarin Language Mastery

BEIJING, July 4 (Antara) - Indonesian students who graduate from colleges in China, are reminded to deepen the mastery of Mandarin language. "Returning to Indonesia, the students who have graduated from colleges in China should continue to deepen their Mandarin language mastery," Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun remarked here on Tuesday when repatriating 13 Indonesian students who just graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology. Oratmangun said China as the second largest economy in the world will increase its investment value in Indonesia, and to open wider employment opportunities for the people in the country. Until now the value of Chinese investment in Indonesia has reached 63.5 billion US dollars. "Huawei (a company engaged in information technology) also wants to invest in Indonesia by recruiting 2,000 to 2,500 workers, 80 percent of which is absorbed from around the factory site in Indonesia," said the Indonesian ambassador to China and Mongolia. To the graduates, Oratmangun also reminded the importance of entrepreneurship. "Try to apply in Indonesia the knowledge you receive in China," the ambassador told the Indonesian students who are about to leave China for their home country. In China there are about 13,000 Indonesian students who continue their studies in various fields scattered in almost all areas of mainland China. Beijing is a city that becomes one of the main objectives of Indonesian students to study in China, especially in medicine and information technology.
