Cycling - ISSI Sends Representatives To ASEAN Paracycling Workshop

JAKARTA, Jan 23 (Antara) - The Indonesian Cycling Association Executive Board (PB ISSI) has sent its representatives to the ASEAN Paracycling Workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in preparing for the ASEAN Paragames 2017 Malaysia. The ISSI's representatives that have left for Malaysia comprising the committee chairman of PB ISSI Puspita Mustika Adya and a cyclist of the paracycling Indonesia, Doni Yulianto who will attend the workshop from January 22 to 25, 2017, according to data received here on Sunday. "All issues related to the paracycling will be discussed in this workshop, ranging from the rule of organization to the games of race that will be contested, which should be in accordance with the rule of UCI Paracyling," Puspita Mustika confirmed. She further said that (ISSI's participation) in Malaysia, indicating the Indonesian seriousness in preparing for the ASEAN Paragames 2017. Especially after this biennial championship, Indonesia will host the Asian Paragames 2018, she explained. Indonesia, according to her, has prepared some athletes such as Doni Yulianto who grabbed three gold medals in the national Paralimpic (Peparnas) 2016 game, and including M. Fadly. The ASEAN Paracycling Workshop is also attended by representatives from Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and the host Malaysia, Puspita added.
