Relief teams recover body of a man under hotel rubble

VAN (A.A) - November 11, 2011 - Search and rescue teams recovered the body of a man under the rubble of a collapsed hotel in the eastern province of Van on Friday. Relief teams recovered the body of a middle-aged man under the hotel rubble. The unidentified man was taken to the morgue. Executives said the body was not one of the reporters who was trapped under the rubble. According to recent official reports, 12 people including one Japanese citizen were killed in the quake, while 28 citizens were pulled out of the debris alive after Wednesday's earthquake. On October 23, Van had been hit by an earthquake measuring 7.2 on Richter scale. 601 people were killed and 4,152 others were wounded in the quake. 188 people were pulled alive out of the debris.
