IPRC holds meeting with journalists, media activists

TEHRAN, Aug. 21 (MNA) – The Vakil Mosque is a mosque in Shiraz, southern Iran, situated to the west of the Vakil Bazaar next to its entrance. This mosque was built between 1751 and 1773, during the Zand period.

The 21st of August, the anniversary of the burning of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, has been named the International Day of the Mosque, at the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the approval of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Journalists embark on "Rahian-e-Pishraft" tour in Hamedan

HAMEDAN, Aug. 19 (MNA) – The Rahian-e-Pishraft (Passengers of Progress) tour was held in Hamedan on Sunday at the initiative taken by the provincial Industry, Mine and Trade Organization.

The journalists and photographers from Hamedan province visited the industrial-production units based in this province and Malayer city.

Rahian-e-Pishraft is a group of religious and political caravans which travel between cities to commemorate Iranian efforts in the fields of science and technology.
