Iran sends medical supplies to Afghanistan after suicide attack

Tehran, IRNA – Iran sent consignments of medical supplies to Afghanistan on Monday in the wake of a suicide attack at a tutoring center in Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul that has killed 35 people and wounded dozens in the neighboring country. Iranian president's special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, told IRNA on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing its solidarity with the Afghan families, has always been and will be with the people of Afghanistan based on Islamic and humanitarian principles and cultural commonalities. On Sep 30, 2022, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani slammed the deadly terrorist attack on a scientific center in the west of Kabul. Iran sends medical supplies to Afghanistan after suicide attack The deadly attack on innocent young people participating in a scientific test is a heinous act contrary to religious teachings and basic human principles and is regarded as a stain on the shoulders of the perpetrators of this crime and the supporters of evil terrorists. Kanaani referred to the responsibility of the Afghan authorities in providing security for the citizens of Afghanistan, and expressed his sympathy for the bereaved families of the victims, and prayed to God for the victims' souls to rest in peace and wished for immediate recovery for the injured. Meanwhile, Iran’s Special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, in phone calls with health officials in Afghanistan, expressed Iran’s readiness to help the Afghan people after the deadly explosion in the city of Kabul.
