President In Majlis To Defend Proposed Sports Minister

Tehran, Nov 17, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani attended Parliament (Majlis) Sunday morning to defend his nominee for the post of minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Mahmoud Goudarzi. President Rouhani introduced Goudarzi in a letter to Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on November 10. The Presidents three nominees for the post, Masoud Soltanifar, Reza Salehi Amiri and Nasrollah Sajjadi failed to win the vote of confidence from the Majlis./end
