Young Girls Victims Of Human Trafficking Found In Discotheque

Cianjur, W Java, Oct 22 (Antara)- Tens of young girls from the West Java city of Cianjur, earlier declared missing by their parents were found in a night entertainment center in Jakarta . They were victims of human trafficking, the Indonesian Commission for Children Protection (KPAI) said here on Wednesday. Robert B Riyana, an executive of KPAI , said a number of parents had reported that they had long lost contact with their daughters . "The parents asked for assistance to look for their daughters including 12 underage girls. The cases were then reported to police," Robert said. Investigations by police led to a discotheque in Jakarta where a pimp had 30 young girls to be offered guests in night entertain centers. Most or 24 of the 30 girls were from Cianjur reported missing by their parents.
