We will not remain silent if French Parliament adopts Armenian resolution on Thursday, says Davutoglu

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Wednesday that the voting on the Armenian resolution at the French Parliament would take place on December 22, the day when a Turkish diplomat Yilmaz Colpan was killed by Armenian terrorists, and the vote would imply a support to terrorist acts.
Speaking to reporters after signing a special note-book at the Czech Embassy in Ankara in honor of the late Czech President Vaclav Havel, Davutoglu said that "Turkey will not remain silent if the French Parliament adopted the Armenian resolution on Thursday".
The resolution at the French Parliament means going back centuries in Europe, Davutoglu underlined.
Every Turkish official who comes to Paris from now on will express his/her views on the (Armenian) matter and a legal process would begin afterwards, Davutoglu noted.
The French Parliament on Thursday will vote on a resolution that criminalizes the rejection of Armenian allegations pertaining to the incidents of 1915 with a prison term of one year and a monetary fine of 45,000 euros.
