Turkish security forces kill 21 terrorists in operation

DIYARBAKIR (A.A) - Governor Mustafa Toprak of the southeastern province of Diyarbakir stated on Wednesday that a total of 21 terrorist were killed in an operation staged in the area between Diyarbakir's Dicle town and border of Elazig province.  Toprak noted that the terrorist groups in the region were seen by unmanned aerial vehicles, and an operation was launched on December 16. During the five-day operation, security forces found a main shelter and seven camps as well as food, weapons, equipments, documents and blueprints belonging to terrorists, noted the governor. Toprak added that according to images collected by unmanned aerial vehicles, 40-50 terrorists had been taking shelter in the region, and 21 of them were killed in the operation.
