President Jokowi Inspects Preparations For Airport Construction In Yogyakarta

YOGYAKARTA, Jan 27 (Antara) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Yogyakarta to review preparations for the construction of an international airport in the Kulonprogo area. The head of state and First Lady Iriana departed aboard presidential aircraft Indonesia-1 from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base located in East Jakarta on Friday at 7:35 a.m. local time. Another agenda of President Jokowi's visit to Yogyakarta is to distribute Indonesian Smart Cards to students in Magelang. Members of the presidential entourage during the visit include Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and Minister/State Secretary Pratikno.
