Kyrgyzstan to export more than 350 tons of meat to Iran

Bishkek, Feb. 14 / Kabar /. In 2017 it is planned to export to Iran of more than 350 tons of meat from Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reports. Director of the State Agency for Investment Promotion and Export under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymbek Orozbekov during a meeting with general director of Janas LLC Farrah Massoud got acquainted with the current state of the meat-cutting plant in Internatsionalnoye village of Chui oblast. In order to promote trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran the State Agency for Investment Promotion and Export works actively to export domestic agricultural products to Iran. In particular, since July 2016 Kyrgyzstan will start exports of lamb to Iran. In the first half of July last year, 2 representatives of veterinary services of Iran visited Bishkek to conduct a complex of restrictive health and administrative measures aimed at preventing the spread of quarantine infectious diseases. "To date, the total volume of exported goods is about 150 tons of meat.
