Floods hit southern Thai province after torrential rain
BANGKOK, June 4 (TNA) - Parts of Thailand's southern Ranong province have been submerged by floodwater caused heavy downpours overnight.
Last night’s heavy downpours have led to overflowing local canals, flooding several houses in Muang and La-un districts, particularly those located in low-lying areas.
Many roads, including a seven-kilometer-section of Ranong - Som Pean Beach road, have also been blocked by landslides, also triggered by the heavy rainfalls, causing traffic problems for local people. (TNA)
