Moluccas Islands Jolted By Massive Temblor

JAKARTA, May 6  (Bernama) -- The Moluccas archipelago in Indonesia was jolted by a magnitude 7,3 earthquake at 8.53 pm local time Wednesday. Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in a statement said the epicentre  was 180km northwest of Maluku Tenggara and occurred at a depth of 133km in the Banda Sea. BMKG said there was no tsunami risk. So far, it is not known the impact the massive temblor has had on the archipelago, -- BERNAMA
