Iran expo in Doha good opportunity to expand bilateral trade ties: Official

Tehran, IRNA – The exclusive exhibition of Iranian products in Doha is a good opportunity to expand export of Iranian products to Qatar, managing director of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company said on Monday. An exclusive exhibition of Iranian products kicked off in Doha, Qatar, on Monday, with 14 Iranian companies in food industry, handicrafts, saffron, commercial and insurance services, advanced systems of industrial combustion extinguishing, leather, oil, and gas technology putting their capabilities and goods on display. Hooman Razdar said on the sideline of the opening ceremony of the exhibition that the Iranian companies showcase their capabilities in the industries such as carpets, handicrafts, food, furniture, and jewelry with the intention of introducing Iran’s trade capabilities in Qatar and using this country as a connecting corridor to the third countries. The exclusive exhibition was launched with the participation of Iran's Vice-President for Economic Affairs Mohsen Rezaei and the Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peyman-Pak in Doha.
