Turkish state minister leaves for Belgium

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 16.02.2011 - Turkish State Minister for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan left for Brussels on Wednesday. 
Earlier, Caglayan was awarded with "the Prix de la Fondation" by the Crans Montana Forum to highlight the "extraordinary dynamism" of Turkey's foreign trade. 
He will receive the award in a ceremony on Friday in Brussels.
Caglayan will also address the South-South Cooperation Forum organized by the Crans Montana Forum.  
Established in 1989, the Prix de la Fondation recognizes people who are committed to social responsibility, contribute to global growth and development. Previous winners include U.S. President Barack Obama and Queen Sheika Sabeeka Ibrahim Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
During his five-day stay in Brussels Caglayan will also meet Kris Peeters, minister president of Flanders, Vincent Van Quickenborne, Belgian Minister for Economy and Reform as well as European Commission Vice-President Simm Kallas.
