Turkish State Minister Celik breaks ground for new hospital in Nyala

NYALA (A.A) - Feb 6 - Turkish State Minister broke the ground for the new hospital Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) is building in Nyala, the capital of autonomous state of South Darfur in Sudan.
Governor of Southern Darfur Abdulhamid Musa Kasa, other Turkish and Sudanese officials, and people of Nyala attended the ground-breaking ceremony on Sunday.
Speaking during the ground-breaking ceremony, Celik said Turkey and Sudan should enhance their cooperation in all areas, noting that TIKA's projects served to this end.
He said Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Nyala four years ago and promised to build a hospital there, and Turkey was now fulfilling this promise, by building a 150 bed capacity hospital.
Governor Kasa later hosted a lunch in honour of Celik and the Turkish delegation.
