Turkish president visits Shumen in Bulgaria
SHUMEN (A.A) - July 12, 2011 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul visited on Tuesday various historic and cultural attractions in Bulgarian city of Shumen where a large group of ethnic Turks live.
President Gul also attended a luncheon to be hosted by the Mayor of Shumen, Krasimir Kostov.
On Monday, Gul met with Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov and addressed Turkey-Bulgaria Business Forum in Sofia.
Gul also visited the city of Varna on Tuesday.
He is expected to return to Turkey this evening.
